The Future is P.I.N.K.
Jheri Hunter is an entrepreneur and a motivator for women who want to succeed in business. Hunter owns Pink Icing Accessories Boutique, a beautiful, quaint store located at 804 19 Street in the heart of Bessemer, Alabama.
A native of Bessemer, Hunter, has turned her “brick and mortar” success into a strong brand as an accessory stylist for television, runways and local clients. Her “pink” hair trademark lends to her “passion for fashion” as she is living her dreams and empowering others along her journey.
“I have always had a passion for fashion. I worked 20 years as a manager in the retail industry, and due to cutbacks in the economy, I was laid off from my job. My dreams of becoming a business owner were now closer than ever,” says Hunter.
Hunter took that downsizing as a sign that she was ready to pursue her destiny as an entrepreneur. While having a kiosk in a local mall, she hungered for more! Even when the mall was struggling to survive and was pending closing, she began buying more supplies for her business. She traveled daily by a strip mall location and set her eyes on a building. Although it wasn’t available each time she inquired, she never gave up and at the right time, all things fell in place and she used the location to open her present store.
Hunter has been blessed to have her unique and beautiful items showcased and featured by the following:
Fox 6 News (Topping Off the Summer with Pink Icing)
Fashion Accessory Stylist (Alabama International Fashion Week ABIFW)
Fox 6News (Kicking off the Football Season with Pink Icing)
Speaker for Cupcakes & Conversations with the Pruitte Twins
Panel guest on the Joe Lockett Morning Show with co-host Comedienne Joy

Pink Icing is just the beginning of Hunter’s dream. She is also the founder of P.I.N.K. POWER (Positive Influential Networking Konnections), her signature emPOWERment platform that encourages and motivates entrepreneurs to follow their dreams through lunches, mixers and seminars. I wouldn’t be surprised to see Hunter expanding into other areas of Alabama in the near future. Hunter has an inspiring
BRAND
story that is blinged out in pink and rhinestones, but beneath all of the flash is a wonderful person with a HUGE heart determined to share her story to empower others to stop wishing and hoping, but rather step out on FAITH to realize their God-given potential and turn their dreams into a reality. Her future is P.I.N.K. with possibilities!
