Freedom is in the learning

I am learning. I am learning to love more and more the skin I'm in, the age I am, and the YOUniqueness that makes me "ME." I am learning to accept every wrinkle and every imperfection as a badge of honor because they reveal where I've been, what I've been through, and where I'm going. Yes, I've been bruised but I'm not broken nor bitter. I am learning that each day I've been given is a blessing and a do-over - I can continue to walk in the destiny given to me by my Father as He continuously gives me the grace to do so. I am learning that every smile does not equal support, every "like" does not equal love and every tongue does not mean me well. However, I am created in the very image of THE Almighty, sovereign God, and His smile, His like, and His tongue are all I need to push out my purpose, catapult my gifts and encourage someone else to soar above their circumstances. I've been there - I've overcome the abandonment and drug abuse of absent parents and family, I've soared past the expectations and statistics of man, and I'm still standing! I am learning to be open to His Spirit, quiet in His presence and humbled by His grace. I am learning to love ME! Until that last breath, until these eyes close, I will continue to learn, listen and LEAD! No matter what YOU are going through keep learning to love God, yourself and others!
