His Word is His bond!

It is very easy to get discouraged when your breakthrough seems intangible! Whether you are working toward a better relationship- then the other person takes something the wrong way; whether you are working toward a financial goal- then something expensive and unforeseen train wrecks your goals, whether you are anxiously awaiting the time you will give your 2 weeks notice, then the next job falls through: Every time there is a glimpse of success, you are knocked right back to the starting line. We have all been there at one time or another - LIFE happens. However, it's at moments like this when it is important to look at God's track record. Surely this isn't your first time having these experiences! Can't you look back and see a million times when He has brought you out? Can't you remember the pains He has soothed; the ways He has made, the doors He has both opened and shut on your behalf; the dangers both seen and unseen that He has spared; the last minute to-your-rescue adventures He has delivered you from? The clock on His track record with you has been ticking even before you were born - so what makes you think it's going to stop now? It won't! So while you wait for this next millionth time He will see you through, strap up those dancing shoes and PRAISE HIM - you can count on the fact that no matter WHO has said it first, HIS WORD has ALWAYS been HIS bond!!! He's working things out for your good and HIS glory!! Keep your head up and your hands up - He's got you!
