You'll do just fine

1 Are we beginning to commend ourselves again? Or do we need, like some people, letters of recommendation to you or from you? 2 You yourselves are our letter, written on our hearts, known and read by everybody. 3 You show that you are a letter from Christ, the result of our ministry, written not with ink but with the Spirit of the living God, not on tablets of stone but on tablets of human hearts. 4 Such confidence as this is ours through Christ before God. 5 Not that we are competent in ourselves to claim anything for ourselves, but our competence comes from God. 6He has made us competent as ministers of a new covenant—not of the letter but of the Spirit; for the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life. 17  Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. 18 And we, who with unveiled faces all reflect the Lord's glory, are being transformed into his likeness with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit. II Corinthians 3: 1-6; 17-18 We are commendations from Christ. The competence that we have comes from Him and we are representatives of His glory. He has made us competent through His Spirit and where His Spirit is there is liberty - freedom. We reflect His glory and are daily being transformed into His likeness! The next time you feel incompetent or uneasy because you feel unqualified or don't look a certain way - know that you represent an awesome, wise God and you can be the best You that you can be - because of Him! Every confident person feels inferior at some point or another - don't make yourself feel worse by trying to be someone else or trying to fit a particular mode - be comfortable being yourself in every situation. And remember, that just because you are not what others want you to be - or you are not yet what you want to be - you are a reflection of the Lord's glory and you are - every day- being transformed into his likeness with His ever increasing glory!
